This is NOT a review. I went there to take pictures not to eat. You can find plenty of reviews of the Oasis Austin Restaurant’s food on other sites. I have read so many of the reviews I do not know what to think The locals seem to think the food is “average” with a variety of opinion. One common complaint is the food arrives to the tables slowly and is often lukewarm or even cold. The reason for cold food is the time it takes to get to your table. This is a huge facility seating as many as 2,500 people and they do it all from a single kitchen.

When I first visited in the afternoon in the dead of summer it was on a weekday in the afternoon. The Temperature was well over 100 degrees. This is NOT the time you want to visit. Most people visit in the evening to watch the Sunset. This is supposedly one of the best Sunset Views in Texas. I have seen views at sunset from many places in the United States on the West Coast and while I may argue with someone who says the view is “Spectacular” I wouldn’t argue that it is pretty good.
The restaurant serves mostly TexMex, but some more standard American Fare is also available. and has been in business for quite some time. I will hit you with the details more below after I do a bit of research.
