The Great Hills Trail road is a nice short cut across from the Loop 360 to the US 183 Hwy if you want to stop in to Trader Joe’s or visit the Aboretum Shopping Mall. It’s faster just to stay on the Loop 360 direct to US 183, but not as pleasant. This is one of the few places I have driven in Austin that I actually enjoyed so I stopped to snap a couple of Photos. It’s little diversions like this that help you get to know the City of Austin better.
